Artist Costume

In my original practice shots My Artists has two key looks,

The first is a party look made up of a play suit, Glitzy costume jewellery and Pastry trainers. I have used this look as it reflect's the theme of the magazine Christmas & New year as it is a December issue and it is party season the T.A may be looking for ideas and inspiration from their favourite artits, although this look is dressed up the artist wears trainers as they are a fashion icon of R&B stars, the target audience will recognise these trainers, as the creaters Vanessa & Angela Simmons who have their own reality t.v series on MTV, their fame is stems from their Father a Hip-Hop music icon, Run, his brother Russell Simmons is the co-founder of Def Jam records a major record label who deal with stars such as Rhianna and Ne-Yo.


The second look I have used is a festive look of a vintage pale pink cosy christmas jumper teamed with leggings and uggs. This shows the artists down-to-earth side, as I will be using this image for her interview which is conducted inside her home, where she gives us her take on her musical story and gets into the festive mood as she shares some of her personal christmas snaps.
